Choosing a Career It is very important for us to make the right (1) choice of profession. Many years ago I decided to enter the Foreign Languages Department of the University. English was my (2) favourite subject at school. I did well in it. Our lessons were always interesting. I also worked (3) hard at my English on my own. I did a lot of exercises trying to (4) improve my language skills. I read English books, (5) newspapers and magazines. So I decided to enter the Foreign Languages Department.
