Dear Grandma,

I hope this letter finds you healthy and in good spirits. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately and wanted to write and tell you how things are going here.

Everything is fine with me. Work (and life!) has been busy, but in a good way. I’ve been learning new things and trying to keep a nice routine—going for walks in the evening and cooking simple dinners at home. The weather has started to change, and it reminds me of the cozy afternoons we used to spend together in your kitchen.

How are you feeling these days? I hope you’re getting plenty of rest and taking your medicine on time. Please let me know if you need anything—groceries, a new book, or help with errands. If there’s something I can do from here, I’ll make it happen.

Last weekend I tried your apple pie recipe. It didn’t turn out as perfect as yours, but the house smelled amazing and it brought back so many warm memories. Next time we talk, maybe you can give me a few extra tips. I’d love to learn more of your favorite recipes.

I’m planning to visit you soon, and I can’t wait to sit with you, drink tea, and look through old photos together. Until then, I’ll call you this weekend so we can catch up properly.
