Вот мои варианты с краткими пояснениями, где это полезно:

1. Are there any chess-players here? — в вопросах обычно any.

2. There are some diagrams in the new book. — утвердительное предложение → some.

3. There are some letters for you on the table.

4. Does anybody mind if I smoke? — общий вопрос → anybody.

5. There is somebody at the door. — неопределённый кто-то → somebody.

6. Nobody could answer the question. It was too difficult. — никто не смог.

7. Give me something to read, please. — «что-нибудь» в просьбе.

8. — No, there is nothing there. — «там ничего нет».

9. I didn’t take any money with me, so I could not buy anything. — после отрицания → anything.

10. Are there any mistakes in my dictation? — вопрос → any.

11. There were no students of our group at the consultation yesterday. — «не было ни одного».

12. People need some oxygen for breathing. — «некоторое количество».

13. My new eyeglasses are very good, I can see everything now. — «вижу всё».

14. I saw something near the wood that looked like a tent. — «что-то».

15. I don’t know anything about this town. — после отрицания.

16. I could see nothing: it was dark. — «ничего не видел».

17. Please, tell us the story nobody knows it. — логика: «расскажи историю, её никто не знает» (в разговорной речи допустимо).

18. Has anybody here got a red pencil? — вопрос → anybody.
