Рассказ как я была у бабушки в деревне по англискому

Last summer I went to my grandmother’s village for a week. She lives in a small, quiet place with a few houses, a garden, and a lot of fresh air. I was very excited because I don’t go there often, and I missed my grandmother a lot.

When I arrived, my grandmother met me near the gate and hugged me. Her house was old but very cozy. Inside it smelled like tea and homemade bread. She showed me my room and then we went to the kitchen. She cooked a big dinner for us. We ate soup, potatoes, and fresh vegetables from her garden. Everything tasted much better than food in the city.

Every morning in the village was calm and beautiful. I woke up early because the birds were singing outside my window. After breakfast we usually went to the garden. I helped my grandmother water the plants and pick tomatoes, cucumbers, and berries. Sometimes I fed the chickens and collected eggs. At first I was a little afraid, but then it became fun.

In the afternoon I often walked around the village. The roads were narrow, and there were fields and forests nearby. I liked sitting near the river and watching the water. One day I went to the forest with my grandmother to pick mushrooms. She taught me which mushrooms were safe and which were not. We also picked wild strawberries, and they were sweet and delicious.

In the evenings we didn’t watch much TV. Instead, we talked a lot. My grandmother told me stories about her childhood, about the village, and about our family. I listened carefully because her stories were interesting and sometimes funny. Before going to bed we drank warm tea with honey and homemade jam.

That week in the village was special for me. I learned how to help in the garden, I enjoyed nature, and I spent time with my grandmother. When it was time to go home, I felt a little sad, but I was also happy because I had many good memories. I hope I can visit my grandmother in the village again soon.
