Похоже, вы просите рассказ на английском на тему «Каша из топора» (это известная русская сказка, по-английски её часто пересказывают как “Porridge from an Axe” или “Soup from an Axe”). Ниже — подробный пересказ на английском простым, понятным языком.

Porridge from an Axe (A Story)

Once upon a time, a tired soldier was walking along a country road. He had been traveling for a long time, and his stomach was growling. By evening he reached a small village and stopped near a little hut. He knocked on the door.

An old woman opened it. She looked at the soldier with suspicion and asked what he wanted.

“Good evening,” the soldier said politely. “I’m very tired and hungry. Could you please give me something to eat?”

The old woman frowned. She did not like sharing her food with strangers. She sighed and said, “I don’t have anything. Nothing at all.”

The soldier understood that she was lying, but he did not argue. He smiled as if he had an excellent idea.

“Well,” he said cheerfully, “if you have no food, then don’t worry. I can cook a wonderful porridge from an axe!”

The old woman blinked. “From an axe? That’s impossible.”

“Oh, it’s very possible,” the soldier replied. “You’ve never tasted porridge like this. Just bring me a pot of water and let me use your stove.”

Curiosity won. The old woman brought a pot, filled it with water, and placed it on the fire. The soldier washed his axe carefully, as if it were the most important ingredient in the world, and put it into the boiling water.

He sat down, looked into the pot, and nodded seriously. After a few minutes he tasted the water with a spoon.

“Mmm,” he said, “it’s already good… but you know, it would be even better with just a tiny pinch of salt.”

The old woman hesitated, but the soldier sounded so confident that she found some salt and added it.

The soldier stirred the pot and tasted again. “Wonderful! Truly wonderful! But if we had a little bit of cereal—just a handful—the porridge would be thicker and richer.”

The old woman scratched her head. She still didn’t want to feed the soldier, but she really wanted to see how porridge from an axe could turn out. She brought a small handful of groats and poured them into the pot.

The smell became warmer and more inviting. The soldier stirred slowly and waited until the cereal softened. Then he tasted again and smiled.

“Excellent!” he said. “A masterpiece! Though… a spoon of butter would make it taste like a royal dish.”

The old woman swallowed. Butter was precious. But the porridge smelled so delicious that she couldn’t resist. She went to her cupboard and returned with a small piece of butter.

When the butter melted, the soldier stirred the porridge carefully and took another taste.

“Now this,” he announced, “is the best porridge anyone could wish for.”

At last the porridge was ready. The soldier served it into bowls. The old woman tried it and her eyes widened—because it truly was tasty, thick, and comforting. They ate together, and the soldier praised the old woman’s stove and her good cooking.

When the bowls were empty, the old woman looked into the pot and then at the soldier.

“So,” she said, “when do we eat the axe?”

The soldier laughed kindly. “Oh, the axe is not ready yet. It needs more time. I’ll come back another day and finish it.”

He pulled the axe out, wiped it clean, thanked the old woman for her hospitality, and prepared to leave. The old woman did not stop him. She finally understood what had happened, but it was too late.

The soldier walked away full and satisfied. And the old woman stayed at home thinking: sometimes a clever person can get what he needs not by force, but by wisdom and words.

Moral: Cleverness and kindness can defeat greed, and generosity often returns in an unexpected way.
