In my hometown, there aren't many ways to entertain yourself if you expect big shopping malls or amusement parks, but there are many things you can do if you enjoy nature and a quiet pace. I would say that young people spend a lot of time at the local sports ground and in the park, playing football or just hanging out. I wouldn't say that the town is boring — it has its own charm. I think that older people prefer walking along the river and attending free concerts in the summer. The open-air cinema and the annual harvest festival are very popular because they bring the whole community together and create a warm, friendly atmosphere.
