Subject pronouns, object pronouns and possessive adjectives

Subject pronouns are used as the subject of a sentence: they do the action.

Object pronouns are used after a verb or a preposition: the action is done to them.

Possessive adjectives show who something belongs to. They are used before a noun.

Example: She likes him. This is her book.
