We Cannot Do Without Clothes

One morning Tom woke up and saw that all his clothes had disappeared. He looked under the bed, behind the chair and in the wardrobe, but there was nothing there.

“How can I go to school now?” he thought. Tom understood that clothes are not only beautiful things. They keep us warm, protect us from rain, wind and sun, and help us feel comfortable in different places.

Soon his mother came in with a smile. “I washed your clothes yesterday. They are dry now,” she said and gave him his shirt and trousers.

Tom dressed quickly and went to school. Since that day he always took care of his clothes, because he knew: we really cannot do without them.
