a) English is called an international language because it is used by millions of people around the world for communication. It is the main language of business, science, technology, and the internet. When people from different countries meet, they often use English to understand each other.

b) Yes, studying languages is very important. It helps us learn about other cultures, improves our memory and thinking skills, and gives us more opportunities for work and travel. Knowing more than one language makes you more open-minded.

c) English is extremely popular among Ukrainian students. Many of them start learning it at a young age and use it to watch films, listen to music, play games, and communicate with friends from other countries. It is also a key subject at school and for university entrance exams.

d) Ukrainian students usually start learning English in primary school. In most schools, English is introduced in the first or second grade. Some children even begin learning it in kindergarten or with private tutors before school.
