Choose the correct tense form (Present simple / Future simple) using Conditional I and complete the sentences.
1. If you run / will run after two hares, you catch / will catch none.
2. Fred has / will have a stomachache if he doesn’t eat / won’t eat so much.
3. My parents are / will be angry if I fail / will fail the exam.
4. Some islands are / will be underwater, if sea levels rise / will rise.
5. If he wants / will want to help the planet, then he has / will have to change his habits.

In Conditional I, use Present Simple after if and Future Simple in the main part.

  • 1. If you run after two hares, you will catch none.
  • 2. Fred will have a stomachache if he doesn’t eat so much.
  • 3. My parents will be angry if I fail the exam.
  • 4. Some islands will be underwater if sea levels rise.
  • 5. If he wants to help the planet, then he will have to change his habits.
