Write a letter to a new penfriend.
• First paragraph (name, nationality, age, a few things about your family)
• Second paragraph (the place where you live, places where you go, hobbies and free-time activities)
• Third paragraph (a party you went to last week: Who was there? What did you do?)
• Closing paragraph (ask him/her to write back)

Dear Anna,

My name is Kate. I am Russian and I am thirteen years old. I live with my parents and my younger brother. My mother is a teacher, and my father is an engineer. My brother is funny and active, so we never get bored at home.

I live in a small town. It is quiet and green. After school I usually go to the park, the sports centre or the cinema with my friends. In my free time I like reading books, listening to music and playing volleyball. I also enjoy drawing.

Last week I went to my friend’s birthday party. Our classmates were there. We played games, danced, listened to music and ate a big chocolate cake. I had a great time because everyone was cheerful and friendly.
