We do not use our brain when we watch television

I think that television can be useful, but we should not watch it too much. In my opinion, when people sit in front of the TV for many hours, they often stop thinking actively. They just look at the screen and receive ready information.

From my point of view, reading a book or solving a problem makes our brain work harder. As for me, I feel more active when I read, write or discuss something with my friends. When I watch television for a long time, I become tired and lazy.

As far as I know, many TV programmes are made only for entertainment. I am convinced of it because they do not always teach us something important. I believe in it: if a person watches only funny shows and does not think about what he sees, his brain does not develop well.

I am sure that television is not bad itself. We can watch educational programmes, news or documentaries. But we must choose what to watch and spend more time studying, reading and communicating with people.
