My City Kirov

Kirov is a beautiful city in the European part of Russia. It is the capital of the Kirov Region and stands on the Vyatka River. The city has a long and interesting history. In the past, it was called Khlynov and later Vyatka. In 1934, it received the name Kirov.

Kirov is known for its green parks, old buildings, theatres and museums. One of the most famous symbols of the region is the Dymkovo toy. These colourful clay figures are made by local artists and are popular all over Russia.

There are many places to visit in Kirov. People can walk along the river, relax in parks, go to the theatre or learn about the history of the city in museums. Kirov is a calm, friendly and cosy city. I think it is a wonderful place to live and visit.
