I would like to apply for the scholarship on the English course in Canada that I saw advertised on your website. I am a final-year secondary school student from Bulgaria, and I am eager to improve my English before starting university.

I have been learning English for ten years at school and through independent study. During the past two years, I have participated in our school debate club, watched lectures and documentaries in English, and communicated with international students online. These activities have made me more confident in speaking and writing, but I know that studying in an English-speaking environment would help me become more fluent, accurate, and independent.

St Keynes College appeals to me because the programme combines language development with study skills.
