Confession!

Last week, I did something that I really regret. During a maths test at school, I noticed that my best friend had left her notebook open on the desk. I hadn't studied enough, so I decided to copy some answers from it.

At first, I felt nervous and scared because I knew I was doing something wrong. However, I was also happy because I thought I would get a good mark.

Unfortunately, my teacher noticed what I was doing. She was very disappointed in me and gave me a bad mark. My classmates were surprised, and my best friend was upset because she thought I had used her trust.

Now I feel really guilty and ashamed of my behaviour. I realise that cheating is dishonest and unfair to other students. I also understand that getting a good mark is not worth losing someone's trust. I have apologised to my teacher and my friend, and I have promised myself that I will never do anything like that again.
