Recipe Planner: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Title: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies are delicious, soft, and sweet biscuits with melted chocolate pieces inside. They are perfect for dessert, breakfast, or a tasty snack with a glass of milk.
Preparation time:
Preparation: 15 minutes
Baking: 12–15 minutes
Cooling: 10 minutes
Total time: About 40 minutes.
Ingredients:
125 g butter (softened)
100 g brown sugar
50 g white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
200 g plain flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
150 g chocolate chips
You'll also need:
A large mixing bowl
A wooden spoon or electric mixer
A measuring scale
Measuring spoons
A baking tray
Baking paper
A tablespoon
An oven
A cooling rack
A plate for serving
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Put the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar into a large mixing bowl.
Mix everything until the mixture becomes light and creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until you have a soft dough.
Add the chocolate chips and mix them evenly into the dough.
Take a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a small ball.
Place the dough balls on the baking tray, leaving enough space between them.
Bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
Remove the tray from the oven carefully and let the cookies cool for about 10 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
Serve them on a plate and enjoy!
Note for your recipe:
Do not put the cookies too close together because they will spread while baking.
Be careful when taking the hot baking tray out of the oven.
Do not overbake the cookies if you want them to stay soft inside.
Useful information:
This recipe makes approximately 15–18 cookies.
You can use milk, dark, or white chocolate chips.
You can add chopped nuts or raisins if you like.
Store the cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Serve them with milk, tea, or coffee.
Your notes:
Chocolate chip cookies are one of my favourite homemade treats because they are easy to prepare and taste amazing. I like them warm, when the chocolate is still melted. They are perfect for sharing with family and friends.
