What Is Better: a Big City or a Small Town?

Some people prefer living in a big city, while others choose a small town. Both places have advantages.

A big city offers many opportunities. There are good schools, universities, shops, museums and sports centres. People can find different jobs and meet many new friends. However, big cities are often noisy, crowded and expensive.

A small town is usually quieter and cleaner. People often know their neighbours, and life is less stressful. On the other hand, there may be fewer places for entertainment and fewer job opportunities.

I think a small town is better for a peaceful family life, but a big city is a good place for studying and building a career.
