Short summary of “The Wizard of Oz”

Dorothy is a little girl who lives in Kansas. One day, a strong cyclone takes her and her dog Toto to the magical land of Oz. Dorothy wants to return home, so she follows the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard of Oz.

On her way, she meets the Scarecrow, who wants a brain, the Tin Woodman, who wants a heart, and the Cowardly Lion, who wants courage. Together they have many adventures. In the end, Dorothy learns that she can return home with her silver shoes. She says goodbye to her friends and comes back to Kansas.
