My City Korolyov

I live in Korolyov. It is a town in the Moscow Region, not far from Moscow. Korolyov is known as the space capital of Russia because many important space organisations are located here.

My city is named after Sergei Korolyov, a famous Soviet engineer and designer of spacecraft. He played a very important role in the development of space exploration.

Korolyov is a comfortable and interesting city. There are schools, parks, shops, museums and sports centres here. Many people like walking in the parks and spending time with their families.

I like my city because it is peaceful, green and connected with the history of space science. I am proud to live in Korolyov.
