My Hobby Is Speedcubing

My hobby is speedcubing. It is solving a Rubik’s Cube and other twisty puzzles as quickly as possible. I started this hobby because I wanted to learn how to solve a cube, but soon I became interested in improving my speed.

To solve a cube fast, I need to learn algorithms. An algorithm is a sequence of moves that helps to put the pieces in the right places. At first, it was difficult to remember them, but regular practice made it easier.

Speedcubing develops my memory, attention and patience. I enjoy taking part in small competitions with my friends and trying to beat my personal record. This hobby teaches me not to give up when something does not work. I think speedcubing is exciting and useful, so I want to continue improving my results.
