2. Yes, they are. Painting is more exciting for me because it can show colours, light and mood.

4. My favourite painter is Vincent van Gogh. His paintings are bright, emotional and memorable.

8. I sometimes go to art museums and galleries. In Ukraine, the National Art Museum of Ukraine is well known. Abroad, there are the Louvre in Paris, the Prado Museum in Madrid and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

9. We can see sculptures in museums, parks, squares and near important buildings. They are placed there to decorate places and honour people or events.

10. Yes, photography can be called a visual art because a photographer uses light, composition and colour to express an idea or emotion.

11. I have tried photography. I think I am fairly successful because I can choose interesting angles and subjects.
