A Day at the Zoo

Last Sunday my family and I went to the zoo. The weather was sunny and warm, so it was a perfect day for a walk. We saw many different animals there.

First, we watched funny monkeys. They jumped from branch to branch and ate bananas. Then we saw big elephants, beautiful giraffes and sleepy lions. My favourite animals were penguins because they looked very cute and swam quickly in the water.

We had lunch in a small café and took many photos. I learned a lot about animals and their lives. We came home tired but happy. It was a wonderful day at the zoo.
