When and where were you born?
I was born on 14 May 1979 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

When and where did you go to school?
I went to primary school in Plovdiv from 1986 to 1994, then to an English–German language high school in Plovdiv from 1994 to 1998. I studied Economics at Sofia University from 1998 to 2002.

What were your best subjects?
English, history, and mathematics were my strongest subjects. I loved literature as well, especially when we compared different translations.

When and where did you get married?
I got married on 18 September 2004 in Sofia. We had a small ceremony at the city hall and a church blessing afterwards with close family.

What job do you have now?
I’m a project manager at a software company in Sofia.

What do you do now (in your job)?
I lead a cross-functional team, plan sprints, coordinate designers and developers, talk to clients about requirements, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. A big part of my day is solving problems and helping people work well together.

What are your hobbies?
I love hiking (especially on Vitosha and in the Rila mountains), gardening on our balcony, baking sourdough bread, and taking photos. In the evenings I read historical fiction or memoirs.

Where have you travelled?
Around Bulgaria quite a lot, and abroad to Greece (Thessaloniki, Crete, and Rhodes), Turkey (Istanbul), Romania (Bucharest), Italy (Rome and Florence), Spain (Barcelona), Austria (Vienna), Czech Republic (Prague), Germany (Berlin), the UK (London), and Croatia (Dubrovnik and Plitvice Lakes).

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve done?
Besides raising you, climbing to the summit of Musala—the highest peak in the Balkans—on a crisp autumn day is my favorite memory. The view above the clouds was unforgettable.
