2. b) Are they doing — What are they doing in the room now? (Вопрос в Present Continuous: are + подлежащее + V-ing.)

3. b) Is speaking — Mr. Scott is speaking German to Ann at the moment. (Единственное число → is + V-ing.)

4. a) Am listening — I am listening to the radio. (Сейчас занят прослушиванием.)

5. a) Am not reading — No, I am not reading the newspaper at the moment. (Отрицание в Continuous: am not + V-ing.)

6. c) Is making — Mum is making a cake. (Процесс приготовления происходит сейчас.)

7. a) Am walking — I usually drive…, but today I am walking… (Исключение из привычки сегодня → Continuous.)

Правило, которое везде сработало: когда описываем действие, происходящее прямо сейчас/в текущий период, используем Present Continuous; в вопросах — вспомогательный am/is/are ставим перед подлежащим.
