What do they look like?

What do they look like? means: “Describe their appearance.” You can answer by saying what people are like on the outside: height, hair, eyes, clothes, age, and general impression.

Example: They are tall and slim. They have dark hair and brown eyes. They are wearing jeans and T-shirts.

If there is no picture or description in the task, it is impossible to say exactly what they look like.
