Здесь Present Continuous употребляется для действия, происходящего сейчас или запланированного на ближайшее время: is cooking, are driving, is going. Present Simple нужен для привычек, постоянных характеристик и состояний: cooks, don’t drink, has, am afraid, do you want, forget. Present Perfect используется с just, когда действие только что завершилось и его результат важен сейчас: have just cooked, have bought, has just crossed.
