- how DNA works

Biological Information from My Parents

I have brown hair like my mother and brown eyes like my father. My hair is straight, while my mother's hair is curly. I am quite tall because both of my parents are tall.

DNA is a special molecule in our cells. It carries information about many of our features, such as eye colour, hair colour and height. We get half of our DNA from our mother and half from our father.
