Imagine you had a chance to study abroad for a year. Write what country you would like to go to and why. What kind of a gap year activity would you choose?

If I had a chance to study abroad for a year, I would like to go to Canada. I think it is a good country for students because people speak English there, schools are modern, and the country has beautiful nature.

During my gap year, I would choose a language course and volunteer work. A language course would help me improve my English, especially speaking and listening. Volunteering would help me meet new people, learn about Canadian culture, and become more independent.

I think this year would be useful because I could learn not only school subjects, but also important life skills.
