Запомните правила употребления артикля
с географическими названиями:

Определенный артикль употребляется перед названиями рек, каналов, морей, заливов, проливов, океанов, архипелагов, горных цепей.

Артикль не употребляется перед названиями озер, отдельных горных вершин, отдельных островов, городов, стран, континентов.

Исключения:
